An unfortunate turn of phrasing from Alex

When Alex is trying to convince Dan to spend the day with her and is luring him over with food, he mentions having to take the dog out.

She's replies something along the lines of, "Nonsense! I love animals! I'm a great cook!"

And 😬😬😬I guess she proves it.

There are some things that she said that you should always be careful about.

"It's strange. I feel like I know you already."
She's already had a deluded perception of being personally close to him when she isn't in only 2 days. This is one trait of BPD.

"Most guys would have just run away. I don't know what I would have done if you weren't there"
This makes it clear to the audience that cutting her wrists was just a manipulative act and also that she was obsessed with him and he didn't seem to pick up on this very much because he was still naive. I would probably have become immediately suspicious if I were him. I find it hard to believe that she would have committed suicide if he left anyway.
