Goes on too long

I liked Play Misty for Me also but it was a different film (sort of). Evelyn kind of targetted Clint's character from the off set and essentially he was single at the time. Evelyn was a different kind of unhinged. Alex Forest was far more devious initially and arguably a little more subtle until she realised Dan was never going to leave Beth. With Fatal Attraction it was a more gradual decline in Alex Forest and because Dan was married with a child the tension had to have time to build. Dan had the weight of the world on his shoulders (deservedly so I agree). I thought they got it about right but I like both movies in their own right 

"These days you have to boil someone before you can sleep with them"

Oh please. This is a hugely popular film and all you can say is it went on too long. Give me a break!!
