I thought that their little girl was a boy through half the movie. I didn't realize that that was a little girl until the movie was almost over.

Me too, I also didn't realise until recently that it's the same little girl who was in National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
The actress (or someone pretending to be) once contacted me over IMDb. I didn't reply, didn't know what to say.
