You know what would be fantastic?
(Keep in mind I find the first Evil Dead quite dull, but the slapstick horror of number 2 makes it one of my favs, no need to debate merits of both this is just for fans of Evil Dead 2.)
Right, onto my point: You know what would be awesome? If the new evil dead two takes inspiration from the old stylistic shift and is created as a slapstick horror hahah!
I doubt it would work with decent effects etc, and the new one has its following of horror lovers that would despise the genre jump, but I think it would fit in so well with everything evil dead is about.
