Only 7.8? This should be at least 8.8

I'm sure this film used to be below 7 at one point, it could be new fans who watched the tv series since the popularity is over 50% as of today.

There are only like 1-3 movies on the whole site rated an 8.8 or above...

That being said, I just watched this for the first time and what a great movie. I almost didn't even watch it because I thought the first Evil Dead was barely ok. I only rated that a 6 and was being generous.

edit: wtf? I just read the description of the original Evil Dead and I don't even remember it taking place in a cabin. I must be mixed up with some other movie I recently watched, but whenever I did rate the original I only gave it a 6, so I must have still not liked it incredibly much, but maybe better than what I was thinking. I was thinking of some movie where people were driving around during most of it.
