Sasha ? Did the movie not say that his ultimate fate was unknown?

There was a PBS documentary, "Escape From a Nazi Death Camp", that said he and another one involved would meet every 5 years after the war. Anyone know which version is true?

Every third person who complains will be shot. Two people have complained already!

The movie said Luka (Joanna Pacula) who was to be Sasha' 'girlfriend' while they plotted and she made him the good luck shirt, she disappeared.

According to the movie, Sasha tried to find her after the war, but couldn't. And again according to the movie, the shirt is on display in a museum.
