question about the star of david in movie


I had seen this movie mids eighties, and never noticed this,untill I saw it again.... but in every scene where they are going trough the clothes, of the murdered victims the star of david sign on the clothes?... it ALWAYS says "JOOD", me being dutch, cannot help but thinking every unfortunate in sobibor seemed to be dutch,because jood is clearly jew in dutch!!! offcourse history tells us this isn't so is this link made because of hauer?, or is this a step too far?...who can enlighten me, and thougt that was weird too?

Jews deported from other parts of Europe to the camp would have been wearing Stars of David in the local languages, so "Jood" if they came from Holland, "Juif" from France and so on. Polish Jews tended to have blue and white Star of David armbands.
