Anyone who hasn't gotten the DVD with the director's and Terlesky's commentary has too get it. I enjoy the movie more listening them basically MST3K their own movie than watching it regular now.

I agree. The movie's pretty funny by itself, and their commentary is even funnier.

has anyone got a back up of this they could pass on for a price since i cant find a copy of this other than a vhs exrental off ebay anywhere, i just wanna see it again to see if its as good as i remember, please pm me if you can assist really wanna see this puppie

I bought Deathstalker I & II a few years ago for dirt cheap on DVD and I was totally takin by suprise by the Commentary. It is easily one of the top 10 commentaries ever recorded! What's a shame is that the DVDs are out of print (they are outragous to buy used on Amazon.com and eBay). I'm sure they will get re-issued by Disney (Roger Corman's new distributer) in the future but who knows if it will contain the commentary or not.

Well, I for one hope they also include the American cut(which is the superior version of the two--commentary notwithstanding). But it is true--the commentary rocks. What would be best of all is to have the American cut, with an ALL-NEW commentary as well as the previous one.

But if wishes were horses...

It's seriously one of the best commentary tracks no one knows about. Except a select few, of course. Like the movie, it's a lot of fun.

I'd love to, but since its out of print and ridiculously expensive, I can't. I wish that there was a chance in hell for all of the four films to get DVD releases. I'd love to watch them as a camp fan.

It's as funny as the hilarious commentary tracks for "Chud" and "Resident Evil". There were actually some very self-aware and clever people working on this project.

If you love commentaries i recomended buying Alfred Packer: The Musical by Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

It is easily the best one EVER. Even better than this.

Agreed. The DVD commentary was a total riot to listen to from start to finish.
