Inspiration for Hard Boiled

Saw this for the first time last night - a lot of scenes had a Hard Boiled vibe to it. The weaponry, rival gangs, factory scene almost identical to Hard Boiled with the slo-mo when Bronson is taking out the guys working on the drugs (only in Hard Boiled it was guns not drugs), bullets hitting the car etc.. Both damn awesome movies!

I don't know about that but I suppose it's possible.
I agree, both movies are awesome. Hard-Boiled is one of my all-time favourites and Death Wish 4 is my second-favourite of the series.
