I have to admit IMHO that Mary Steenburgen in Dead of Winter bears a striking resemblance to the UK singer Kate Bush. They both are beautiful women and I mean no disrespect to either. Just an observation of mine.

You are so right! And I don't think that's disrespect at all. Both are very beautiful and talented and should be flattered by the comparison to each other.

I think it's great that decades after this film and Kate Bush's heyday, people still appreciate the similarities.

I have never noticed it before, but you are so right. They are also quite close in terms of birth year.
