Anyone else feel this way about the movie?

I live in Texas where the weather is awful. Dry, 110 degree days..I turn this movie on and something about it just makes me feel...cozy? is that the right word? I mean the snow and the seclusion, the atmosphere and what not..I turn this movie on a lot when I take naps. Weird I know. Anyone know what I mean (not the nap part haha, just the feel of the movie?

I love the atmosphere of this movie! It's mostly very calm expertly for the thrilling parts. I love seeing the snow, hearing the wind howl, and the cozy atmosphere in the house. I'm on my third watch in the days because of it,lol. I have several movies that are thrillers which I like and play over and over for the same reason. One is "Sleeping with the Enemy."

You know what? It's almost weird you say that because I feel the exact same way! It came on yesterday right after I got home, the moment she gets unknowingly captured I felt the same feeling I get when I watch Rosemary's Baby. I just felt like I was right there with them, the film does a really great job on being an atmospheric thriller. I almost feel like I'm in the secluded big house right along with the characters. I enjoy movies that can do that.
It's strange that I enjoy the vibe of this film being that I absolutely despise the snow in reality.

I get the same feeling. - By the way, you might want to try 'Ghost Story' [1981], same winter atmosphere though a different story, and more horror.
