We just got this on DVD and I watched it for the first time in a very long time. I loved this movie when I was younger, and still do. I was just thinking though that if they did a remake James Roday (Psych on USA) might be good in the leading male role. Michael E. Knight as this character just reminds me a lot of James for some reason. I didn't even consider it to start with because I didn't quite remember what he looked like, but as the credits were rolling I was thinking "what about a remake" and them I saw him and I'm like "yeah, definitely with James Roday." What do you think?

If they ever DO remake this movie, I think the absolutely most PERFECT actress for the role of the angel would be Emmy Rossum (Phantom of the Opera, Day After Tomorrow, Poseidon). She has that absolutely angelic appearance, her voice is very soft, and she carries herself just right for the role. Too bad they couldn't just get Emmanuelle Beart to do the role again... she's the best at it!
