Song

There is a song that plays in the background...can't figure out which one it is. Its got a good beat and usually starts when she begins to fly. I know its a classic 80's hit, but I can't remember any of the words. Anyone have any idea about the main song of this movie? Its a guy singing...

I believe that the song is "I Come Alive" by Air Supply.

Edit - the song is "The Finer Things" by Steve Winwood.

The music that plays when the angel takes off her bandage in the forest and begins to fly is an instrumental version (actually, probably part of the score) of "I Come Alive," a song by Russell Hitchcock, the lead singer of Air Supply. If it's not his own personal instrumental, then it was created by the movie's composer. Sometimes, composers do that. They will use melodies and such from a popular track and incorporate it into their score. This happened with another piece I enjoy from "A Nightmare on Elm Street 4." The music plays when Alice is getting ready in front of the mirror. They use a rock instrumental version of a Go West song that's included in the film. Unfortunately, this piece of music (and the angel's flight music) is not available on any album.

Black man! Black man! Where did you come from?
Black man! Black man! Where did you go?

I actually came to this part of the website because I found an old cassette tape of mine where I taped that piece from the TV. I absolutely LOVED that song, and just listening to it today made me search for it. I hate that I can't find the music to that, but you're right.. I could tell that it was the instrumental to the song "I Can Fly". Oh well, thanks for the info and I'm glad someone loved that song as much as I did.
