could you name me this movie please?

I watched the following movie on TNT some while ago, and i saw this movie (date with an angel) was following after this one (i don't know the movie's name), i haven't seen the beginning, but what i saw was enough, its about a guy that goes to a motel to rescue a girl with nothing more than underwear and is locked inside a room, the guy rescues her, and they escape down the streets, there they find some street hockey players that ambushes them and the guy fights them and scares them with a super soaker replaced with a gas tank ridiculously spitting fire, after the fuss, the guy and the girl, escape on a truck's back and they ask each other out for a date. Please if you know anything tell me the name of this movie, i've been wanting to see it for years, thx.
