In the scene towards the end while Jim is in the hospital, the doctor enters the waiting room to talk to his friends and father, and we can hear him say that "things don't look good, he has a cerebral hemorrhage.... must have been complaining of severe headaches etc."
shareYeah, it's also kind of hard to hear what the doctor is saying, audio-wise. I had to turn the t.v. up rather loud just to hear it.
But, deductively, I figured it was something like that long before the diagnosis, due to the massive consumption of aspirin for a 'headache' that just wouldn't go away.
