why didn't the angel never speak?

shareI always thought that she spoke in a heavenly, supernatural way that humans couldn't understand. At the beginning she speaks to God. He's speaking English and she's doing her thing and they both understand each other. And, yes, when she returns at the end, she speaks English to everyone (something God allowed her to do on her "leave of absence" from being an angel with wings).
I'M SO EXCITED! I'M SO EXCITED! I'M SO...SCARED!!!

because supposedly, angels' voices are extremely powerful and are only used for singing... how many angels have you ever read about in biblical text having actually SPOKEN? Not singing or speaking in a musical form, but speaking in a normal conversation like you and me...
Their voices are a bit too high-pitched is my guess... lol maybe that's one reason they picked Emmanuelle Beart... she has a high-pitched voice (as well as that sweet, innocent angel face).
It's just my guess... lol
Béart does NOT have a high-pitched voice, I think that angel sound is modified and man-made, not a human voice.
Just watch Béart in M:I, her voice was even lower than when she speaks French, which is normal. Because most ppl speak foreign language in a not-so-confident way, that's why your voice sounds lower.
I don't get why Béart doesn't get a lot of lines either. Her 4 yrs spending in MTL since she was 15 should have well-prepared for her language ability. In Rosanna Arquette's documentary "Searching for Debra Winger", she spoke just fine. Her accent is typic French Canadian accent, not French accent. In M:I, her low-pitched voice plus fewer lines helped to make that accent sound neglegable. I think Hollywood still doesn't offer her a lot of lines unless her English is as perfect as Juliette Binoche's or Charlotte Ramplings'; which is a total shame.
I don't intend to be offensive, but I have to defend my opinions.
It's a human voice all right, it's just not Béart's voice. It's another actress called Joan La Barbara.
You've got me?! Who's got you?!
Lets see um Gabriel did speak to Mary telling her she is going to have a child.
shareShe speaks the same language as Madison in SPLASH.
Get me a bromide! And put some gin in it!
