The actress who played Laverne in 'The Raft' (babe in the red t-shirt).

Is called Jeremy Green.

Since when has Jeremy ever been used as a name for a woman? I was literally looking up the cast to see who the actress was and became puzzled as it looked like The Raft had credits for one woman and three men. Poor lady, why would you call her that?

I know many names are unisex, such as Jordan or Alex. But Jeremy?

She has a identical twin called Pamela!

It's unusual but her character's name Laverne isn't that common these days either....not unique though, as there's also Jeramie Rain from Last House on the Left.
