New News Theme Writers...!

My favourite bit was where those two idiots came in: "We're here to play the new News theme..." I particularly liked the "counter-melody" and the "big finish" - hilarious!

I LOVE that part of the movie! I played it for my cousin who plays piano, and he was cracking up. The way they're singing the melody, and they're SO into it... it's hilarious. :-)

And when they finish the performance, Paul deadpans, "I got chills." Doubly hilarious.

Marc Shaiman, the film composer, was one of these idiots.

I loved that scene but didn't think that they were idiots -just really into their work. Wouldn't you love to have a job that you were that into? I know I would!!

That is my job, and I'm well into it, so I could identify with them totally!
