I always wondered why they 'showcased' him for a news story in this movie as almost an icon...actually stating he's not crazy (by Aaron)

I guess he doesn't look that 'presidential' now, does he?

Gaddafi was showcased in a couple of movies back in the 80s. "Back to the Future", for instance, featured Libyans that Doc Brown was running away from.

This was all probably was in reference to the bombing in Libya by then president Reagan after a bombing in Berlin.
