when i was a kid, i remember being afraid to throw away a pair of shoes and a toothbrush because of this movie. i imagined them sitting in the trash can and crying, "Why Matthew?? Why did you throw us away??"

I was thinking similar things about myself as a kid. Between this and toy story... We should be a bunch of hoarders!
shareEh, that sort of rings true for me. I get being a pack rat from my family, and in a way this movie kind of cements why. I guess this (and Toy Story) gave me a bizarre complex as a kid that inanimate objects have life and emotions. I was a strange kid.
