Carbon copies

PlutoTv was playing Kickboxer for weeks about 2 months ago. Now Bloodsport is in the rotation.I hadn't seen either in ages and recently watched both; multiple times if you count just parts in the background while doing something.


Besides noticing how bad they are, some of these movies are carbon copies of one another. Both these involve a tournament or some kind of crowd watched some kinda pre-arranged. Lion Heart and The Quest too. Death Warrant to a degree. It's funny how often the whole illegal tournament thing was used in the 90s. In Lion Heart and Blood Sport, he flees the military. In Bloodsport and The Quest, the fighters styles were broken up by styles/country; as if someone who is American can't learn BJJ. Only boxing, LOL.
