i didn't expect a straight forward 80's version of blood feast coming into this film. maybe if i saw this before blood feast, i'd feel differently about it.

Then it either wasn't late enough or you weren't drunk enough. This movie is comedy GOLD!

I feel the same as the OP. Wasn't expecting The Godfather, but expected pure 80s horror/comedy cheese. Instead, it was just a little TOO dumb for my taste.
