Here's a fun drinking game:
Every time someone says "George, quit screwing around" or "George, stop messin' around" drink a shot of battery acid
...or
every time the "actors" makes you roll your eyes or cringe with disgust on how terrible the movie is, drink a shot of mercury. that way you'll be dead within minutes, sparing you from watching the rest.
This movie is a cult classic. The actors played it over the top because of the direction of the movie. Nothing is as fun as getting a group of friends together to watch this classic.
Its meant to be cheesy and poke fun at itself.
just because its 20 years old, doesn't make it a classic...it just makes it old crap. Watch Evil Dead, or Dead-Alive. That is how things are done.

Blood Diner was designed to be humorous & cheesy. You can't tell me the scene w/the biker getting run over numerous times wasn't funny. I was at a viewing at a college campus w/30 people (granted a lot were drunk) and everyone was dying laughing during that scene.
Evil Dead was great (1st evil dead, it wasn't designed to have comedy elements like Blood Diner. the 2nd Evil Dead had quite a bit more humor in it). Dead Alive is a classic, its in a league by itself.

I saw it in a theater with a rowdy crowd. Believe me, it was HILARIOUS. If you'd like to impugn the sense of humor of about 100 people, please, have at it.

!!! No, it wasn't. How can a biker getting run over numerous times be funny?
Maybe not, but this movie is a cult classic and it is what it is supposed to be. Over the top gore and fun. Relax and watch it for what it is. If you don't like these kinds of movies, don't watch them.

Thing is, I love these types of movies. BUt this one didnt deliver the goods at all.
