How long is this movie?

Both the Maltin book and this site clock it at 108m. but the DVD release is listed at 100m. and the version I just taped off cable came in at 102m.

Has this film been trimmed or is this evidence of tampering with projection speed to fit a time slot?

It's been so long since I first saw the film that I am certain I will not be able to detect trims, unless they are incredibly blatant. Anyone have any knowledge on this issue?

it appears in the dvd the hospital scene (second to last scene) is missing. Pity

Depends on what region of DVD you are watching.

The film is officially listed as being 102 minutes long.

The more Ken Loach films I see, the more I think they need English subtitles.
