Does anyone know if Chef Paul Prudhomme appears in this film in a cameo role? I watched it (again) the other night and there is a scene in the restaurant where a Chef Paul is refusing Remy's check. I thought the chef bore quite a resemblance to Mr. Prudhomme, but he is not listed in the credits on this site.

shareAccording to the cast listing on the imdb site, Chef Paul is played by Gailard Sartain. Sartain has his own website if you are interested in more information on him. He has been a character actor in several movies.

Good guess, but no. The chef and restaurant owner, who came to Remy's table was a local Cajun actor, I think. Or, because of his name, I'm guessing he was of Cajun roots and descent. NOT Prudhomme, however.
The more Ken Loach films I see, the more I think they need English subtitles.
