Gabriel Knight

Anybody play Gabriel Knight?

Is it just me or did Jane Jensen have a bit of a crush on Remy?

reply

Heh great game, thats actually how I came across this film.

mothboy,

I don't get your OP.

Wait, who's Jane Jensen?

The more Ken Loach films I see, the more I think they need English subtitles.

According to Wikipedia:

Gabriel Knight is a series of adventure games produced by Sierra On-Line in the 1990s. Three games were released in the series: Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers, The Beast Within: A Gabriel Knight Mystery and Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned.

Activision currently holds the rights to Gabriel Knight. Series creator Jane Jensen hopes that the launch of her new studio, Pinkerton Road, will lead to a fourth Gabriel Knight game in the future.

Right, gotcha Jim ... I don't understand what the OP has to do with this film, however.

I'm assuming there are some (or a number of) references to Remy in the games' programs. I'm not a computer games player, so I've never seen the Gabriel Knight games.

Me neither, haha.

And, there's no reference to a "Gabriel Knight" in the film, either, so ...

(Well it DID come out in 1986, after all, LOL )

Somebody should have made the point here a long time ago that Gabriel Knight is set in New Orleans. There may also be some other links between the game and movie that I'm unaware of.
