What a cheesy dumb-blonde move at the end by the daughter?
Running right to the killer which causes James Woods to get shot and end the movie, what a cheesy rushed ending. Ruined everything else.
shareI didn't have a problem with the showdown, but they sure as hell could have done a better job of initiating the showdown. You're absolutely right that the set-up was terrible. How dumb could that kid be?

Anyway, it's the PERFECT ending, for Cleeve (Woods) gets to die a hero, gets the friendship he always wanted from Dennis and thus is inmortalized that way by Dennis, whom I'm sure was planning to showcase him in a much darker light.
