Does anyone know why they replaced Dudikoff in the scene when him and James are talking to Wild Bill. If you look closey as there walking about of the room you can clearly see that the person isnt Dudikoff and is someone else - skinny but with similar features. He even looks at the camera. Then as they leave the room, you see Dudikoff again playing Armstorng as they walk out hte door. Anyone know whey they did this??
There are a few threads about this. The guy was Michael Dudikoff's stand-in on the film, for when they're setting up the shot, lighting purposes and whatnot. But why he's there instead of Dudikoff during the actual shot will always be a mystery.
Cannon films were shot on an extreme low budget and every shot costs a big load of money and we're talking about on a per take basis. Like someone mentioned above here, Dudikoff may have not been on the set when this particular scene was shot so a stand-in was hired to avoid re-take costs. That stand-in didn't speak, he just stood next to Jackson. Also, but very, very briefly (you may have to pause it and use the slow motion function on your DVD or VHS if you have it on tape) you'll see the black Marine that was captured at the very beggining of the movie attack Armstrong during the 3rd Blind Beggar's bar fight (the one when they were trying to rescue Alicia). He was the one who Armstrong threw out of the 2nd floor and landed right behind a guy seated on the first floor.
