What ever happened to Taylor's wife?
His wife was held hostage by "The Lion" and was never shown to her whereabouts. Was the wife Alicia Sanborn? or was it a major plot hole that was never fixed?

Or maybe she didnt exist and taylor just said it so Armstrong could let him go.

shareI always assumed he just sacrificed himself for the sake of the exposure of experimentations he was affiliated with, he appeared objected and concerned about the discovery/experiments falling into the wrong hands when he explained the possible outcome to The Lion.
I picture the scenario as more of a case of "I created it, I must destroy it,"
Hence why he told Alicia he loved her....he knew himself that he wasn't returning.
Notice how Armstrong always has to stare for five minutes or so at the end of every final fight

I would assume since they killed Taylor, they no longer needed her and executed her and tossed her in the sea.

Taylor betrayed them. She will have been immediately killed.
Mad scientists don't get called mad lightly.
She either was killed and they didn't show it. For some reason watching it before I always thought Alicia Sanborn was his wife. Which would then make sense that she was being held and threatened and if he didn't do what they wanted they would harm her. A double blackmail for Professor Sanborn.
