i've been looking for the redion 2 dvd but yet to find it.

Well, I've never seen it in the shops, but it's certainly available from Amazon UK, so at least we know it exists! Also, do you have the Sci-Fi channel? They're often showing Batteries Not Included during the day, if you want to see it again. As for classic scenes, one moment that comes to mind is the moving climatic scene when we see hundreds of the 'fixers' come from the sky to help rebuild the burnt cafe. There's also the scene with the three baby fixers getting up to mischief, like learning to fly or getting sucked down the plug-hole. And then there's the scene that I always found very distressing as a kid; when Bobby smashes up the daddy Fixer with a baseball bat.

I'm 21 now, but was quite young when I first saw it. I absolutelly love this movie. It's very cute, and yet a bit sad.

As for what's the most memorable scene is not just the part where the 100's come from the sky, but more specifically, when the little one who was fixed, helps out by using it's mouth to place the tile, and then nudging it with it's "nose" in place. It's always the scene that I think is the most sentimental.

Oh wow, I have very strong vivid memories of this movie when I was a child. I'm 19 as of now and I've finally found it. I can't wait to get it and have a movie day filled with a few of my most nostalgic movies, this is movie is at the top of my list.
It may not be a very entertaining movie for an adult to watch, but for a child, it's a great memory-inducing movie.

I know this is a really old thread and no one probably reads it...but "bobby" aka carlos smashes daddy fixer with an axe. I have the movie on ONDemand TV at the moment...very good movie.

There were so many great scenes from this movie. I remember seeing it when I was in college. My daughter, who wasn't even born then, lists this as one of her favorites too.
Some of my favorite scenes include:
The look on Jessica Tandy's face when she comes down to the cafe that had been destroyed and says the "fixers" did it, "It's what they do." The smug look on her face is priceless!
Also, the scene when Carlos pretends to be Bobby so Jessica Tandy will follow him out of the building.
Finally, the fact that Harry only speaks in "commercial jingle" lingo was a great touch - especially when the runt of the litter is still born and he says "batteries not included." Then, during the funeral for the little guy Harry "sneaks" up and steals it and takes it back to his apartment to fix it.
