just watched this (for the hundredth time) on itv in england. I remember it in the cinema but im not sure if it was a hit.I happen to think it is one the most original sci fi films of the 80's but something of a forgotten gem.did it do any biz in the US?
sharei wondered this to, i checked how much it made on the opening weekend and compared them to other movies from the same year, seemed it did ok,

i mean it didnt gross anywhere near the likes of lethal weapon, 3 man and baby, etc from that year but seemed to good for itself.
