One of the most Boring Movies ever

I'm not here to wind people up, but this was one of the most boring movies i have ever seen. I remember hiring it out in about 1989/1990 ish when i was 15 and the only exciting memory i have was taking the video back.

I thought it was a very interesting, entertaining film and I just saw it for the first time today.

Happy New Year everybody.

I just watched this for the very first time and I loved it. Bought the original 1988 MCA Home Video VHS for $2.

A trailer for another Spielberg film, An American Tail, appears at the end.

I can understand how the movie may bore some people. People that are between the ages of 10 and 17 and are expecting cg eye candy! You gotta remember, the movie was about the humans and not the alien robots, theY were just there.

I saw this movie when I was 8, and I loved it. I couldn't remember the name of it, and I've been looking for the title here for several months. Ahhhh, the cover brings back memories.

Saw it tonight for the first time in probably 10+ years, and it still had that "magic" that grasped me the first time :-)

I remember watching this move when I was a kid, and I thought it was awesome then... I saw it on tv the other day, and it's still cute and fun. of course it's old, and there's some weird things about it, but for an older movie there's nothing wrong with it, I certainly wouldn't call it boring...

For me, it's none other than an over-acted mess.

"hiring it out"
Okay whatever.

Just read this comment. You must be lacking a soul. I pity you. Honestly I do.

It's the opposite for me. I was bored by it when I was a kid. Back then, I didn't understand it. Now, it's a gem. I love Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy in this! How I miss them! It may take a few viewings to understand and appreciate it. I certainty do now!
