How did Eric always find work?

It's funny because he always uses his real name. If any of the employers bothered to run a background check they'd realize that he was wanted for murder.

Probably because it was the '80s, and you didn't need a degree, license, or certification just to salt fries. From recollection, he seemed to find under the table work from small businesses, farmers, etc.

^ This was me during the glory days of IMDb. Makes me sad.

I always wondered the same this about David Banner on The Incredible Hulk! That was probably even harder since he used different last names, lol.

The kind of work he used to do was usually under the table kind of job, and you don't need id or anything like that. Usually just a good reference or trust. It's a risk for sure but then you get cheap labor too that way (sometimes).

Just like Richard Kimball in the original "The Fugitive" and the guys on "Route 66". It was a bygone age when someone could travel the country and no two areas were alike. One could get a lot of jobs where not too many questions were asked if you showed up on time, stayed out of trouble, and did a good job. A lot of that is impossible today. I like modern technology but often we are too wired in and too many people have to know too much of our business for us to function. I could go further in this but I think I have made my point.

because the economy and all of america under president reagan was freakin awesome! all you had to do was just show up and there would be a good job for you. not anymore! thanks obama!

Um...no. Reaganomics and the "tighten our belts to eliminate the deficit" message he was selling meant that companies started downsizing left and right. The fatter dollar days didn't appear until the Clinton era.

The internet: where even a thread about a nearly forgotten werewolf show will devole into politics.
