Anyone else notice in S01E02 - Notes From The Underground: while Goldman is talking to Zeke about his attitude, there is a glitch that comes on screen (kind of like a band that runs down) the screen for around 1 second?

Just before Goldman tells Zeke that he doesn't work for him.

Also a few minutes later, the same thing happens, when the Vietnamese doctor is speaking to Taylor about why he thinks communism is so great. Same type of glitch.

Around 10-15 minutes later, when they are ambushed by the VC, same thing.

2 minutes later, when it is "chow time" - same again.

Anyone else have these?

I have both the Region 2 and Region 4 box sets and the glitch you mention occurs on both versions. However, they are hardly noticeable and I would not have noticed if you had not mentioned it.

You have to remember that Tour of Duty was taped on film or video and had to be transferred to a digital medium. I'm sure that over time, the film may have become a little worn.

Thankfully, the picture and sound has been enhanced and the original music is on there 😀
