What does Ruiz say to MAJ Rigby?
When Major Rigby blames Goldman for his disobedience (towards the order to fail the village people and save the American butts instead) saying (something like): "Strategic considerations should be the only source of decisions", Ruiz answers him (into his back as he has already turned around): "Humanity is more important than strategy, you a$$hole!" This is at least what the dubbed version says. From what I hear in the OV Ruiz says: "People are strategy, sucker!" Is that right?
The rest of the episode is simply ingenious. The Spartacus motif is well placed here, and the final shot - the Lt and the SGT build a frame around their soldiers - is a picture that says more than thousand words. It's maybe from hereon that we conceive the platoon as a unity, a band of companions. And we are only at episode 3, out of 58.
Any thoughts?
