What happens to Goldman's threat... (S1 E1/maybe 2)

When Goldman realizes that Horn has left deliberately his gun in the helicopter, he announces to both of them, to Horn and to Anderson, that after this episode they will find themselves in front of a court.
Now I understand Goldman's anger towards Horn, but not towards Anderson. Okay, the sergeant "disobeyed" when the (unexperienced) LT ordered to take the forest's edge in an assault, but he, Goldman, was the one who had the biggest profit of the sergeant's "disobedience" as it acutally saved his butt. So why threaten his sergeant with the military tribunal? He should be a little bit more thankful instead.
Afterwards, this idea, this tiny little sub-plot has dropped out completely, it's never mentioned again. Could it be that episode two begins right where episode 1 ends? At the beginning of E2 we see the platoon on patrol through noman's land. If I assume that this happens immediately after what happened at the end of E1, it all makes sense. Goldman and Anderson have their tunnel adventure, and after this the relation between them begins to get better.
Any thoughts?

By the time they reach the weapon stockpile (still in ep 1.1), Anderson asks him how they should proceed.

I watched the episode again two days ago and discovered that this is not really true. Anderson does not ask LT Goldman how to proceed. He only describes the situation, without giving any "unauthorized" orders (or orders that LT could consider unauthorized), as he did before. So Goldman "on his own" could order to call "arty".
Anderson's response "Well, bless your heart" is translated to "That would be nice"; this gives Anderson's words a sarcastic undertone which in the OV does not exist, if I get it right.
