I have issues with this but I've already posted that on the board.

And thanks to you Craig for all your help in making this happen.

The documentaries are awesome and it was great to see the cast and crew still so dedicated to the show as the fans. I guess it's a bit of shame that Stephen Caffrey didn't participate. Any word on why not? He was fundamental to the show and he definitely has a lot to be proud of (I'm sure he is)

reply

Stephen is doing plays now and he travels all over doing them.

I figured as much

Does this documentary still exist anywhere in the web? Here in Europe it's not available.
I regret a lot, like a poster above already said, that Steven Caffrey didn't participate. I have learned from his portrait here on IMDB that he prefers doing theatre, and I owe him my respect for his decision. Back then it would have been easy for him to become a movie star, so thumbs up for his attitude to stay true to his real believes. Amongst the few comments he's quoted with he always shows some slight distance to doing movies in general and TOD in special. Exactly for this reason it would have been interesting to get to know his view back (in anger?) on the serial.
BTW, what is the difference between "show" and "serial"?

English is not my first language. Any corrections are welcome.

The three documentaries (one for each season) are only available on the Region 2 DVDs (UK) and Region 4 DVDs (Australia).

Here is some information, if you're interested:

They are not available online. The copyright owner has made it clear that it will take "serious legal action" if it is posted online.

reply

I didn't intend to do any illegal download or whatever, I'm only interested in the legal things.
It's a pity that they do not publish the documentaries here. They publish the serial but not the documentary about the serial. Too bad.

The documentaries were made specifically for the fans that bought the DVDs. Hence, they will not be made available online - legally or otherwise.

the dvd collection with original music is till available?

reply

The Region 2 and Region 4 DVD boxsets do have the complete original soundtrack.

The Region 2 boxset is more easily ascertainable through Amazon.co.uk
