Watching Egan I kept thinking...

Just watched this on YouTube. Half the time I wondered if Egan was Alec Guiness' son, the other half I wondered if he was Alistair Sim's son. I've since found out he's neither. But the resemblance to both is a little spooky.

Watching Egan I felt that they should had got a better actor for the role.

He's certainly not the character I visualised in the book.
