Who Couldn't Morse Save
In several episodes both in Endeavour and Morse there is a reference to someone Morse couldn't save. Does anyone know who this is?
shareThere are a couple of candidates, but I would have said his late mother. I am guessing her death, coming just at the onset of adolescence, would always leave a deep impression.
Any other ideas?...
John Thaw actually did not have a happy childhood. I believe that I heard that his mother suddenly abandoned the family, so any emotion regarding the passing of his character's mother sadly was all too real.
