I hope Shout! Factory will release, Good Morning, Miss Bliss on DVD
Good Morning, Miss Bliss started on NBC back in 1987 and only aired 1 episode which was the original pilot. In 1988 The Disney Channel took over Good Morning, Miss Bliss and aired 13 episodes during the 1988 - 1989 season and then The Disney Channel decided not to do a season 2 so they canceled it from their network after just one season.
Me and a few other Saved by The Bell fans had wrote and sent e-mails to Disney/Buena Vista in the past requesting for them to release Good Morning, Miss Bliss on DVD and I would always get the same reply back saying something like, "Thanks for the interest, but at this time we have no plans releasing this title, but we will forward your request onto our marketing department for consideration." Back in 2006, I finally decided to write Disney a letter letting them know how much I wanted Good Morning, Miss Bliss to get released on DVD so it can complete the Saved by the Bell collection. They wrote me back like a month later and said, "Thanks for writing in, but with our Disney policy, we are not aloud to take any requests from any of our consumers. Even though you have good intentions, we are not aloud to break the rules.
It sounds like to me that Disney/Buena Vista has no plans to release Good Morning, Miss Bliss in the future. I am hoping that Shout! Factory will consider purchasing the rights for Good Morning, Miss Bliss from Disney/Buena Vista and releasing it on DVD so all of us Saved by the Bell fans can complete our Saved by The Bell collection. Good Morning, Miss Bliss is how Saved by the Bell was born.
