LOVED THE FINALE!

As a guy, I have to say it was so bittersweet and sentimental that I cried. I’m talking about when Ben cleared out his apartment and after he left, you see his alter ego, the character that he created in his mystery novels, come of a closet or something and then proceeded to leave the apartment also. Did the spirit of his dog do the same thing or was he still alive?

It’s comforting to think that we just don’t “leave” a place, that everything we were/are, all the good things come along too that we just don’t leave nothing behind. May God in his mercy deem it so. I guess it’s important for humans to believe that. Really touching ending scene if there ever was one.
