Characters' Ages?

How old do you think all the characters are - good, bad, and otherwise?

reply

Okay, I'll reply to myself, hopefully that will get everyone started.

Scrooge - sixty to eighty.

Huey, Dewey, and Louie - eight or nine.

Webby - five or six.

Mrs. Beakley - fifties.

Duckworth - late forties, early fifties.

Launchpad - twenty to twenty-five.

Gyro - forties.

Doofus - same as Huey, Dewey, and Louie.

Bubba - ????

Fenton - same as Launchpad.

Flintheart - same as Scrooge.

Ma Beagle - fifties or sixties

The Beagle Boys - late teens, early twenties

Magica DeSpell - thirties.

What do you guys think?

reply

>>Scrooge - sixty to eighty.

Sounds about right. I'd probably place him mid-sixties.

>>Huey, Dewey, and Louie - eight or nine.

I'd aim just a little bit higher, nine or ten.

>>Mrs. Beakley - fifties.

I think she's closer to Scrooge's age than that, maybe late sixties.

>>Bubba - ????

Bubba is probably the same age as Huey, Dewey, and Louie.

>>Launchpad - twenty to twenty-five.
>>Webby - five or six.
>>Duckworth - late forties, early fifties.
>>Gyro - forties.
>>Doofus - same as Huey, Dewey, and Louie.
>>Fenton - same as Launchpad.
>>Flintheart - same as Scrooge.
>>Ma Beagle - fifties or sixties

Agree on all of these.

>>The Beagle Boys - late teens, early twenties

I'd say late twenties to mid thirties for most of them.

>>Magica DeSpell - thirties.

I think she's older. Early to mid forties.

reply

Scrooge - sixty to eighty.
Yes. I'd say between 60 and 70.

Huey, Dewey, and Louie - eight or nine.
Yes, except that they were ten years old in the last season.

Webby - five or six.
I think she could have been seven or eight in the last season.

Mrs. Beakley - fifties.
Well, I too think she's about Scrooge's age.

Launchpad - twenty to twenty-five.
Sounds about right, but he could have been in his late 20s too.

Gyro - forties.
Hmmm... When you think about, yes, he might seem just a tad bit older than Launchpad and Fenton. But I still think he's still in his 30s.

Doofus - same as Huey, Dewey, and Louie.
Yeah, probably. Except he's not in their class in school, is he? So he might be one year younger or one year older.

Bubba - ????
Hmmm... That one is tough. Because while he goes to school with the nephews, he does seem like he's older than them in other ways. And back in his own time, Bubba lived on his own with Tootsie, and I don't think even neanderthal children lived alone. So I have to put question marks on this one too.

Fenton - same as Launchpad.
Aaaaaah, Fenton... One of my cartoon crushes... Yes, he's probably somewhere around Launchpad's age, that is, between 20 and 30.

Flintheart - same as Scrooge.
I think I can agree on that too.

Ma Beagle - fifties or sixties
I think that's right too.

The Beagle Boys - late teens, early twenties
Well, I think they've all turned the big two oh. I'll say they're Launchpad's and Fenton's age.

Magica DeSpell - thirties.
Actually, I think she's in her 50s, or at least her very late 40s.

Yes, it's true! IMDB has reached Sweden!

reply

"I think they've all reached the big 2-0."

Except Babyface, right? :)

reply

LOL! I don't know who that is! But then, I focus entirely on the Fenton episodes...

reply

He's a really little Beagle Boy who wears a propellor cap, has ruffles on his sleeves, and (if you look really closely in one scene on "The Billionaire Beagle Boys Club," which is a Fenton episode) sucks his thumb in his sleep. So I would say he's nowhere close to twenty. :)

reply

He he... Yeah, when you mention it, I might have seen such a character.

It depends in wich year the series start in duckburg...

if it would've started in 1987 (the year that the series started on tv)
it would mean that Scrooge McDuck Would've been dead for 20 Years.. Since he died in 1967 at the age of 100, that is if you look the Time-Line...

reply

Well, considering Scrooge being around his 20's during the Clondike gold rush he should be around 140 now. Boy, thats old.

I think Huey, Dewey and Louie said that they were 10 in one episode.
