Recently after reading stories by comic legend Frank Miller, I can't help but wonder.
What if Frank Miller wrote Ducktales episodes? No, I'm not on crack. Heck, he could make Darkwing Duck like the Batman he writes in The Dark Knight Returns and All-Star Batman and Robin.
Of course, this is a really weird idea.
Check out the Darkwing Duck episode "Time and Punishment," it was almost certainly inspired by Millers's Batman stories. Gosalyn disappears into the future and finds that Darkwing's heart has hardened in her absence. He even rolls around in a tank similar to the Batmobile in DKR.

With Ducktales, it would probably be Duckburg meets Sin City. Imagine Duckburg, but bigger and with a Sin Cityesque flare as one person said.
Is that the one where petty crimes such as jaywalking have severe penalties. I recall the future Darkwing planning the law and for each cheap crime, he'd say: 'getting out of line, umm, death, jaywalking, umm, death ... '
I never think about the future, it comes soon enough
