question about the many beagle boys

please excuse me if this is a dumb question: i read the thread about the many beagle boys, are they all brothers? i was watching the first dvd/first season, and there were 4 boys and ma. then, the 2nd dvd(so far) had 3 that i didn't recognize.

what's the deal? i never read the comics, and i was about 7 when the cartoon came out, so i don't remember if there was an explanation of the many boys.

i'm guessing they could have been cousins or brothers. or, it could be like other cartoons, and there was no explanation. were other beagles preferred to over others by fans or the creators?

I'm not sure if some were cousins. Most of them were brotheres I think. Fenton dressed up as their long lost cousin in the Gizmoduck five part episodes

The combination of the beagles most of the time was Bigtime, Burger and Bouncer in series 2 bouncer seamed to be replaced by Baggy. Other times in series 1 was Bankjob (who was the leader when Big Time wasn't around) Babyface and BeBop who seamed to make the odd apperence.

Bigtime, Bouncer, Baggy, and Burger were the most widely-used ones. Bankjob, Bugle, and Babyface were used less often, but those seven were all brothers. There were a couple other Beagles that showed up from time to time, and they could have been either brothers or cousins. It's hard to tell.

thnx, it was confusing me. i thought maybe the creators wanted to make a change or something.

just when i was getting used to the same 4, they switch it up on me! i hate that.

what's with the pig? please tell me they weren't related, too!

It says the pig beagle suffered from swineflu so that explains it. Just when we thought the Beagle were like the Munsters.

Ma Beagle once said "I have more boys than the toad has warts". And there were many Beagle boys on her family photo. So she obviously had many sons.

Watch a drain on the economy. there was like 100 of them in that episode.As the series progressed, they simply created more and more Beagles who'd crawl out of the wood work for an episode or 2. Like those Cowboy Beagles, the Canadian Beagles, the Blueblood Beagles, Megabyte the computer geek, Bomber the pilot, the Beable Brats(kids), and the Beagle Babes.
