The best you can do is go to youtube for the full theme (or the short one up to you), download it using a site or a tool and convert it to the mp3 format(or the format you use).

I don't know if the original poster still cares about the DuckTales score, but if you search all the web, you'll find some tracks on the Ron Jones (the composer) website and a Youtube "video" called 'DuckTales Suite' which you can listen nine minutes of the DuckTales excellent score.
This is good, BUT these tracks are just a few compared to what you listen watching the episodes.
I have emailed to Ron Jones and asked about the official release of the score. Guess what? Disney own the rights of the soundtrack. And I really doubt Disney have plans to produce and release the DuckTales Soundtrack.
And the worst part is that I understand their logic: DuckTales is not a hit anymore. Kids and teenagers probably don't know what is it. If the cartoon is not "famous" today, could you imagine the score of an old cartoon?

Maybe I'll sound naive, but I found the e-mail adress of the Disney Records public relations (I think it was it) and thought that all the soundtrack fans around the world could e-mail them asking for the official release of the soundtrack. I know, this probably will not work... But who knows?

I don't know if I can publish the e-mail adress here in this forum, but if you google "Disney Records contact", you'll probably find it.

And sorry about my English... I'm brazillian.

I would truly love to see the score officially (in fact it's one of my only 2 most wanted scores, the other being Zimmer's Lion King complete). I doubt Disney is going to release (they especially are notorious when it comes to film scores), I think our best bet is that some speciality label like Intrada or La-La Land Records eventually gets the licensing rights and does a release. It's certainly possible because the score is indeed in quite high demand even this day.
