Good show, but one thing always bothered me...

The lack of Donald Duck. I mean, if there's one thing I've always loved, it's the chemistry between him and Scrooge. Why was he only in 8 freakin' episodes? He should have followed him on adventures, like he always do in the comics!

There have been different explanations floating around as to why Donald only got a very small role in "Duck Tales". According to one version, Roy Disney Jr (Walt's nephew) simply refused to let the TV studio use his uncle's most iconic characters. But I have also heard that they wanted Scrooge and the nephews to be the stars, so that is why they shipped Donald away. Some people have also suggested that it was because it would be too hard to understand what he said. But anyway, I'm so glad that they gave Donald such a limited role, because that would eventually open the door for Fenton Crackshell, who is my favorite character on this show. And he would take on the role, that Donald usually would have in the comics.

Intelligence and purity.

Launchpad was used as a Donald proxy. Donald wasn't used more because the producers thought he would divert too much attention from Scrooge and the other characters.

His lack of being in many episodes made for when he was in one stand out! I think it actually was good to keep his showing up to a minimum. That said I think it sucks that once Bubba Duck, Gizmoduck and the movie came around Donald Duck was no longer used sadly. The movie at the very lest should of found a way to have him in it, might of helped the ratings of that movie in the box office.
