Why didn't Eric whisk her off for a romantic wedding

Seriously, why invite the load of ingrates lead by Ridge who by the way, needed to be told off for demanding nobody support Eric because its in HIS best interest.

reply

What a bunch of spoiled, self-centered brats! I was wishing Eric would disinherit them. Ridge is such an a$$hole.

They sure are and it is clear where Steffy has learned her attitude. She may not like Quinn, and she may have good reasons for that, but to completely alienate her own grandfather over something that in reality has little to NO impact on her just shows how immature she is.

reply

You guys do realize that Quinn is a psycho, right? I mean this year alone the woman kidnapped Liam instead of getting him to a hospital and also she tried to kill Deacon by pushing him off a cliff. I could never root for her. Now I'm not saying the rest of the family is innocent but let's be frank, would you want your grandfather getting married to a nutcase? Lol

Wasn't Eric already married to a psycho once named Shiela Carter back in the 1990's?

reply

Quinn is crazy and no I wouldn't want her in my family either. That said, Eric doesn't always think with his brain when it comes to women.

Steffy is just mad that Quinn slept with Liam. I don't understand why Wyatt is still hanging on, its so clear Steffy still loves Liam. While I do believe that Thorne, Rick, Felicia and Zende have Erics best interest at heart, even wanting to show up for him though they aren't happy, Ridge and Steffy are completely selfish in their reasons for the boycott.

reply

Of course Quinn is a psycho. There is no argument there. But, Eric knows about all of the things she has done, and for whatever reason (loneliness, insanity, love ?) he has decided that she is the woman for him.

The problem I have, is that the problems everyone seems to have a completely self-centered. They cry about how they are worried about Eric, but in the next breath it turns out that what they are really worried about is the effect it will have on the company and their inheritance.
Steffy is concerned because, well, like everything else that happens in the world, is all about her. It couldn't possibly be anything else.

None of them genuinely seem to care that for better or worse, she does make Eric happy. He is in this with his eyes wide open and frankly, she is probably treating him better than his family has since Stephanie died.

reply

Of course Quinn is treating him great right now. He is her ticket to the high life. She always acts sweet as can be when she wants everyone to believe she's changed. How many times has she had these periods since she's been on the show? Then she goes right back to her evil ways.

This is hilarious that some of you believe she is a changed woman.

reply

No..Quinn has never been like this. She's been this way since Liam. This is a long stretch for her.

reply

Even when she was with Liam, she had moments when she would snap and get crazy angry. She's never gonna change for the better. You'll see she will go back to be a psycho. She already wanted Ivy to try and seduce Liam to keep him away from Steffy not crazy but scheming.

reply

It has been since Liam that she pushed Deacon off a cliff!

reply

I don't for one second believe she has changed. I think she believes she has but as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow, something will happen that will set her off and careening down the crazy town line.
That being said, I still think the family is being entirely selfish in their objections. They are not concerned about Eric or his mental health. They are concerned about Eric and his mental health and how it will affect all of them and everything they feel entitled to. With this group, we shouldn't be surprised at how self-serving they are being but here we are...

reply

I think this family has always been selfish in what they feel entitled to. But in this instance it is understandable that they are worried about Eric and the business. I think they definitely care about him, they understand what a toxic person Quinn is and the harm that she is capable of doing to him. It would be completely weird for them to know what a psycho she is but then just accept her into the family and business.

reply

Their behavior was awful. They should have gone just to support him. They don't have to like his choices. And Wyatt is a crappy son.
