Oh.... the places they can go with the Eric and Quinn situation....
Ok...so, I don't want to think that Quinn will run off with Eric, the same way she did with Liam -- Because the writing team just wouldn't do that again so soon, right?
But...I'm wondering if they are headed towards explaining Eric's recent actions as a symptom of his brain aneurysm. That way if he wakes up and doesn't remember much, he will be grateful to his family for trying to protect him from Quinn?
They could head in so many different directions:
Eric wakes up and finds that his family has kicked Quinn out of everything and kept her away from him and he ends up even more furious than he was before. He goes to find Quinn and she's a psychotic mess...because, as she told him...'As long as I'm married to you, I won't need to be that woman again.' (Ok...it was something along those lines...) Eric is able to get her some therapy and the family sees the depth of their love and finally, reluctantly, supports Eric.
---
Eric wakes up to find that Quinn has taken control of everything and he doesn't even remember loving her, which puts him on the side of his family to wrangle together and get the company back.
---
Eric opens his eyes, but can't communicate and sees the destruction coming from both sides...Ridge torturing Quinn and Quinn plotting revenge...and he's not able to do anything about it for a few months until he's able to move and speak...! He breaks it off with Quinn...throwing he back in to full hysteria.
---
Eric wakes up and tells his family to shove it...and lets Quinn control everything while he recovers -- snickering from his sickbed.
Ok...what else can spring on us...?
