So I have turned this show off for years, but after spending a week with my mom a couple months ago, I have tuned in again. With that being said, I realize I missed the apparent terror that Quinn was. Maybe if I saw it, I would understand Steffy better.
However, I have never seen such a self entitled whinny brat in my whole freaking life! All she can see is that she doesn't like Quinn, Erics feelings have no meaning to her. Wyatt doesn't matter if he can't control his mother. Her dad better well just stuff his feelings for Brooke and who the heck cares that RJ wants his family reunited. Everybody needs to shut up and just get those shares so that Eric can be ran out of the company that he built well before she even know what a fashion was. Her attitude sickens me.
So am I alone and just not really grasping the situation or are other people is fed up as i am?
Opinions are like armpits: Most everyone has two and they usually stink. But have a great day!!!!!
You are not wrong in seeing Steffy as a selfish A S S. She should not believe that she has the right to dictate to her grandfather in his private life. He has the right to be the most mind numbingly stupid guy in the world and that is exactly what he's doing.
But Quinn is a murderer, besides other serious crimes. Steffy and any other shareholders have the right to do whatever they have to to keep Quinn away from having power in the business. They would have to be stupid not to try to protect it from her.
I call her a murderer because she wanted to kill Deacon, pushing him off the cliff would normally end in murder. She would absolutely kill someone right now if that was what she felt she needed to do in order to get what she wants. Also, she probably killed the diamond guy in order to get the diamond for Wyatt, the show decided to drop that storyline but that is definitely the way it was played.
Actually no, not no one. The diamond guy is dead. Just because the storyline was dropped doesn't change what they did play. And if someone tries to kill someone but fails they don't just become innocent. They are just as guilty as those who succeed. Maybe we don't know for sure that the word murderer is technically accurate but it works for me. If there is another term that is more accurate it would not make her any less guilty.
So, what about someone who doesn't intentionally kill someone, but their death is a direct result of their actions. Taylor killed Darla, and Steffy killed Aly. One was drunk driving, the other self defense. Does that make Darla and/or Aly less dead? Is Rick a murderer for trying to kill that Grant guy? Attempted murder isn't murder period, and killing someone isn't necessarily murder.
I don't get your point. Do you believe Quinn is somehow less guilty because she didn't succeed in killing Deacon? Even though she fully intended to kill him and thought that she had succeeded.
What do people who didn't intend to kill anyone have to do with this?
Quinn isn't a murderer. She can probably be called an 'attempted murderer' though. But, the police never brought charges against her for any of that. And when Liam had the chance to put her away...he didn't go through with it, because of his embarrassment and ego. They did make her go to a mental facility, but that wasn't the police that sent her there, that was everyone else threatening her to do so or they would inform the police. (I think that's how it was anyway..)
Deacon didn't turn her in...Ivy didn't turn her in...Liam didn't press charges.
Yes, Quinn will, more than likely kill someone to get what she wants, but it hasn't been proved so far that she actually 'murdered' anyone.
Pam was a psycho... Aly was a psycho... And I know it's hard for some to hear, but.. Steffy has psycho tendencies...as does Thomas and Taylor...!
But...
Quinn is the most lovable psycho around!

When I saw the topic "Stuffy Steffy", I thought yeah, let's bash one of the most selfish, unlikable characters ever to be on a soap opera. Then it quickly turned into a hate Quinn for what she has done thread.
I have liked the character of Quinn and I definitely like Rena Sofer but trying to murder someone just turns the character for me. I understand that no one knows about it. There is also the fact that she most likely murdered the diamond guy too. Even if they don't reveal it to the other characters I am just not into them trying to play someone that evil as a good guy.
As I said before, if someone can come back from the dead, why is it impossible to believe they can change? Stranger things have happened. If Sofer were a sh!t actress, I'd probably want her off the show, but she has great range and I like her. We'll see. Thanks for your insightful comments!
I completely believe that there can be a change for the good, it's only that with this character specifically its what she claims every time she is caught doing something wrong. Then as soon as she wants something that she can't get easily she goes right back to murder and mayhem. And it really hasn't been that long since she was kidnapping Liam and pushing Deacon off a cliff.
But the way the story is going now it is almost impossible not to root for her. Ridge and Steffy are really serious a s s holes. They don't seem to be even giving a thought to how Eric is doing. Someone asked Ridge how Eric was the other day and he looked confused, like, who's Eric?
I was hoping the whole time Steffy & Quinn were talking at the end that Steffy was going to clobber her with something BIG & HEAVY. This show needs a good murder mystery. They wouldn't necessarily think it was Steffy at first because everybody saw her leave. I do not like Steffy but dislike Quinn even more.
I can't stand Steffy. She already clobbered someone with something big and heavy, and it ended up killing them - her psychotic cousin, Aly. Then she flat out lied about it to Detective Hot Dog AND Thorne, saying Aly "tripped" and hit her head. Thorne still doesn't know the truth. I know it was self defense, but that doesn't make Aly any less dead or Steffy any less of a liar.
