Are the Forresters banking on Eric not waking up?

Because all of this plan pretty much fizzles out after he wakes up unless he contracts sudden amnesia (which wouldn't be a surprised on this show tbh): Ridge wouldn't have the power of attorney to kick Quinn out of the business and the house and Eric would be able to at least say that she is his wife

That's one of my many problems with this storyline. Do they want Eric to die? Are they hoping he's going to wake up with brain damage? How exactly is ANYTHING they're doing going to remove Quinn from their lives if Eric makes a full recovery? The only thing they're doing is giving him even more reason to be disgusted with them.

Even though Thorne and Rick don't know that Ridge is lying about the Power of Attorney, I wish one of them would at least bring up the fact that they are once again actively going against their father's wishes...which is exactly what lead to him being hospitalized in the first place!

I don't feel sorry for Quinn at all, but I do feel sorry for Eric. I really wish there was some way he could boot all of them out of Forrester, though of course he can't with the ingrates owning more shares than he does.

I think that they will try to declare Eric incompetent to run his own life. I think that they are hoping that he will just forget Quinn and then even if he does, the situation is going to get even worse.

I was about to make a thread on how it seemed they obviously were banking on him dying. I mean SERIOUSLY?? It's like they have learned nothing from what they did, and when he wakes up, things are going to be MUCH worse for them. I'm actually getting tired of the direction this storyline has gone in. I want Eric to wake up quick, fast and in a hurry. I may stop watching until he wakes up. The endless ranting and whining about Quinn EVERY SINGLE DAY is making it pointless to keep watching this until something really interesting happens to shift things!!

I feel like you do - if I have to hear Steffy and Ridge blame Quinn one more time for Eric's condition, knowing full well that they put him in this state - I will scream. I am tired of watching the bullying of Quinn, whether you like her or not, it sure makes the two non-biological Forresters out to be complete *beep* And if Eric wakes up and does anything other than protect Quinn and take those jerks to task, I will stop watching completely, I believe. If he wakes with amnesia or in some other compromised state, I will be through. Then again, with all of their actions, they are setting Eric to wake up and have another stroke immediately upon learning how they have treated Quinn and how the non-biological Forresters and Carter lied about his choice of power of attorney.

The only chance this storyline has for any real drama worth watching IS for Eric to wake up, and for all of them to be OUT, including Carter. Anything else would be more of the same every day, aside from I guess Thomas not seeming to be feeling Caroline AS much as he was before, which I'm really getting a sense of. I think he kinda likes Sasha enough to want to explore her more, and honestly I hope so, because I HATE Thomas and Caroline together!!
